Flu, RSV, & Covid run rampant

Safety Resources,

The risk of the Flu, RSV, and Covid are casuing some to miss an extensive period of time from work and other holiday activities that they would normally complete around this time of year. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) recommends that men and women with certain chronic health conditions(heart disease diabetes, asthma) receive a flu vaccination to reduce their risk of getting sick with the flu. Unlike the flu, Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection(RSV) currently has no vaccine. The illness will typically go away in one or two weeks.

With all three of the viruses, the CDC continues to recommend that fluids are frequently consumed and the use of pain and fever reducing medication such as ibuprofen is being used. Visit the websites below for any additional information.
