SMCA Safety Dinner and Awards

SMCA will be holding their annual Safety Dinner and Awards on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 5:00 pm at Live Casino and Hotel in Philadelphia, 900 Packer Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19148. 

Ryan Costello, Director of Safety and Risk at Sila Services, will present on a mobile platform that construction companies are using to communicate safety data more effectively in the field. This platform enables employees to access incident reports, inspections, and extensive training resources (toolbox talks, short specific training videos).

Ryan presented this topic to safety professionals at the Professional Development Conference for the American Society of Safety Professionals in July, which was well attended. He and many Safety Professionals across the county are using this platform to improve their overall safety programs.

This safety meeting is free of charge. The deadline to register is January 22, 2026.
