New Business Opportunities for PA SMACNA Contractors: Learn More on June 5 Webinar

Training Opportunities,

Pennsylvania SMACNA contractors have a new opportunity to expand their scope of work through the state’s $396 million RISE PA (Reducing Industrial Sector Emissions) program—and a free webinar on Wednesday, June 5 at 11 AM will walk you through the details.

This virtual session is designed specifically for union-affiliated contractors interested in industrial decarbonization projects, including those with experience in energy systems or carbon capture technologies.

Webinar Highlights:

  • Welcome remarks from Mike Ford, Secretary Treasurer, PA Building & Construction Trades Council

  • Program overview by Louie Krak, Implementation Lead for RISE PA

  • Guidance and support resources from Stephen Herzenberg, Keystone Research Center

RISE PA will fund 30%–50% of project costs for industrial energy and emissions reduction efforts. Most applicants will be Pennsylvania-based industrial clients—your current or potential customers. In many cases, contractors partnering on these applications can unlock bonus subsidies for using union labor and delivering community benefits, increasing the subsidy to 50%.

If your firm is involved in carbon capture, HVAC modernization, or industrial energy efficiency, don’t miss this opportunity to get ahead of the curve.
